2009 United Way
This year's Bowling Green United Way theme was “Live United” to reach out
a hand to one and influence the conditions of all. The spokesperson for United Way stressed that
with the downturn in the economy, the need was greater than ever. With so many of our employees
trying to find ways to stretch their $$, especially with many of their spouses out of work, MSP did
not have a very high expectation for our 2009 United Way Campaign. Imagine our amazement - the
employees of Marathon Special Products outdid themselves with their pledges. MSP had the best
United Way Campaign ever by raising $22,017. |
