Marathon's new UL Listed Enclosed Power Distribution Blocks have enhanced touch-proof protection, are UL Listed and designed to meet the new spacing requirements with elevated SCCR ratings per UL508A and NEC2005. UL Listed components make it easy to get panels UL listed. Features of new Enclosed PDB’s include broader wire range (3/0-14) and a modular design that allows snapping of any number of poles together. Availability of 1,000V CE Rated Products for Solar and Wind Power Applications
Marathon Special Products is pleased to announce availability of 1,000V AC/DC CE rated products for Solar, Wind Power and other industrial and commercial applications. Marathon’s Power Distribution Blocks, Fuse Holders and Terminal Blocks have been evaluated and rated to IEC 60947-1 and the appropriate IEC component standards. Flexible Stranded Wire
We are pleased to announce the UL Recognition of our power blocks and terminal blocks for use with Flexible Stranded Wire. We are the first screw-type mechanical pressure wire connector manufacturer to achieve UL Recognition for flexible stranded wire, meeting the requirements of UL508A, Section 29.3.11. Short Circuit Current Ratings (SCCR)
The requirements of the 2005 National Electric Code (NEC) and
UL508A now require many electrical panels to carry a Short Circuit
Current Rating (SCCR). Recognizing the need for higher Short Circuit Current Ratings on our power blocks, we have tested many of our power blocks to achieve the higher ratings. The majority of the blocks carry a rating of either 100kA or 200kA with appropriate circuit protection (fusing). Click here for more information...
