Marathon Special Products is announcing a minor change in the design for the FDS (Fused Disconnect Switch). This modification will improve the ease of fuse carrier insertion as well as enhance the confirmed “click” when the fuse carrier is closed.

General Changes & Rationale:

  1. Updated FDS fuse carrier to a uniform smooth edge, allowing an improved insertion.
  2. Angular Support – Reinforcement added to improve the fuse retention.

This will be a running change with no variance to the part numbers or ratings.

Products will be converted to the new design around November 2019. All orders received after the implementation date will have the updated design.
